Getting Your Property Listed on our For Sale By Owner Selling System is Easy!

Step 1: Decide which option you want to use.

Choose this option if you want to advertise on the
ForSaleByOwner.ca Website Only.

FSBO
(You can pay as you go monthly, or choose the "until the property sells" flat fee pricing.)

Step 2: Fill out your listing information and upload your photos for the ForSaleByOwner.ca Listing.

Step 3: Follow the steps to activate your Listing on the ForSaleByOwner.ca website.

In this step you will also have the option of ordering our custom lawn signs.

Note: Once you have paid for your listing, our system gives you the option of parking the listing until you are ready to complete it, or having it go live on the ForSaleByOwner.ca website instantly.

Step 4: Once the listing is live on the ForSaleByOwner.ca website, you are completely in control of the sale of your home.

You can also log onto your account and fully modify the listing any time you want - 24/7.

Step 2: Fill out your listing information and upload your photos for the ForSaleByOwner.ca Listing.

Step 3: Follow the steps to activate your Listing on the ForSaleByOwner.ca website.

In this step you will also have the option of ordering our custom lawn signs.

Note: Once you have paid for your listing, our system gives you the option of parking the listing until you are ready to complete it, or having it go live on the ForSaleByOwner.ca website instantly.

Step 4: Once you have completed the initial listing process in Step 3 above, our system immediately provides you with the REALTOR.ca (MLS®) listing documents and easy-to-follow instructions for completing them.

Our brokerage can also call you at a time that is convenient for you to go through the forms, providing you with ongoing support while you complete them. Additional telephone and email support is always available at no extra cost to those who need or want it.

Step 5: Once the brokerage has you up and running on REALTOR.ca (usually within 12-24 hours of receiving your information), you take over control of the sale of your home.

Any ongoing changes to your MLS listing are completed by the brokerage within 24hrs - and are free of charge.


Other Noteworthy Facts About Using Our Services

Regardless of which selling option you choose, if a buyer's agent (REALTOR®) brings forward an offer to you, it is up to each seller to negotiate the commission that they are willing to pay to them (if any).

Our sellers are not obligated to pay commission to any REALTOR®, at any time, no matter which selling option they chose. There are absolutely NO rules when it comes to what a seller should, could or would pay to a REALTOR® to bring them a buyer!

Keep in mind that about 50% of the houses that sell using our brokerage, do so without the involvement of an REALTOR® acting as a buyer agent, mainly due to the fact that the contact information of each seller is available right in the ad, and the buyers simply contact the seller themselves.

If a potential buyer does contact our brokerage about any of our postings on REALTOR.ca, the brokerage directs the buyer to contact the seller directly, by giving the buyer the seller's phone number.

Remember, you choose whether or not you want to work with a buyer's agent if they bring you an offer. All other individual buyers from REALTOR.ca and the ForSaleByOwner.ca web site deal directly with you.

Once you have received an offer to purchase and before signing anything, contact your lawyer to proceed with finalizing the transaction professionally.

Pricing Tools - Can the FSBO Real Estate Inc. Brokerage provide me with "SOLD DATA"?

Yes, we can! The Sold Data reports we supply contain real MLS® System market data based on the comparable criteria that you choose. Each report request will include up to a maximum of 12 comparable properties in PDF format. If you choose to use this additional service, there is a charge for the Sold Data of $75.00 and each seller is given up to 3 separate report requests. Learn more about our Property Evaluation Tools.

Cancel Any Time

Regardless of which term you have chosen, you have the freedom to cancel at any time. If you change your mind about selling, you are not locked in or obligated to keep your posting with us. There are no cancellation fees, and no hidden costs!
