How to Add a Listing on FSBO.ca

Prerequisites

Before adding a listing, ensure you have:

• A FSBO.ca account (choose from Non-Verified User, Lite User, Frequent User, Power User plans).
• - OR -
• Use an existing ForSaleByOwner.ca account to automatically log into FSBO.ca. (This also works vice-versa!)

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Click on "Post Ad": Get started here.
2. Select the Top-Level Category: Choose the main category that best fits your listing (e.g. Buy & Sell, Pets, Services, Vacation Rentals, or Vehicles).
3. Select the 1st Subcategory: Refine your category by selecting a first subcategory (e.g. "Cars & Trucks") to narrow down the item type.
4. Select the 2nd Subcategory: Further specify your item with a second subcategory (e.g. "Sedan") to ensure accurate classification.
5. Enter Item Details:
   • Provide a Title (e.g. "Low-mileage 2018 Honda Accord").
   • Add a Description (up to your plan's limit, e.g. 200 words for Frequent User).
   • Enter the Price.
   • Choose if New or Used.
   • Select the Condition Rating on a scale of 1-10
   • Enter the map location to pinpoint where the item is available.
6. Upload Photos: Add images of your item (up to your plan's photo limit, e.g. 20 for Frequent User) to enhance visibility.
7. Review and Submit: Preview your listing for accuracy, then submit. You can swap out sold items or update details anytime within your active listing limit.
